Every year, your fireplace or stove needs to be cleaned. Masters has a team of trained professionals to perform the inspection and cleaning services that ensure your appliance is running as efficiently as possible.

Our pellet stove inspections include:

• Inspecting hopper and auger plate
• Cleaning and lubricate the motors
• Checking pressure and latch switches
• Inspecting wiring and sensors
• Testing for electrical issues
• Cleaning glass, chambers and bins
• Detailed reporting
• Educating homeowner on inspection results and proper maintenance for the year

Masters Chimney & Hearth cleans most freestanding and fireplace insert pellet stoves. Cleaning season starts June 1st and goes into late winter. Our company’s zip code is 20715, our range is 30 miles. We clean and service the back part of your stove, the clean out tee, and the piping. Because of our low rates, we do a large volume of stoves each season. Our cleaners are also our service techs. They may be able to inform you of any possible problems. New customers must make a deposit of $95. The deposit is nonrefundable if cancelled within 48 hours of the set appointment. Once the service is performed, this amount will be deducted from the total cost. *$20.00 off if stove has been cleaned by MC&H in the last 24 months. Fees listed above include 1 hour and 20 minutes of labor. For stoves that have excess caked on ash due to years of neglect there is an additional fee based on time. Customers, whose stoves were installed by MC&H but have not been serviced in the past 5 years, will be charged $295.  Any combined time after 1Hr. and 20 Mins. is charged at $95/hour. There is an additional $35 fee for any service call in Baltimore City and Washington DC.
